I’m sort of addicted to a show called Flipping Out on Arena at the moment. Not sure who else watches it but the Guy in it (Jeff) is so attention to detail oriented he borders on painful, but a good painful. Jeff buys and renovates high end homes then flips them. He does a really good job and you would feel comfortable buying one of his homes because he is so dedicated to the quality of the end result. Although he is a little over the top and probably plain rude sometimes, he sees every house he does as his brand and I think that’s great especially in that field where many renovators cut corners and make things look glossy but aren’t necessarily built for the long haul. Jeff lives, eats and breathes building stunning homes and strives for perfection every time and expects everyone who works within his brand to have a similar mindset around quality, which is really interesting to watch who has the capability of meeting his expectations and who doesn’t. Needless to say some people don’t stay working for him for very long and some love being a part of a team that aims for excellence.
I’m glad there is someone out there more anal than me… I think anyway! he he.
